Lead the Way K9 Training & Boarding is a Licensed & Insured family owned business that offers outstanding dog Training, Boarding, Daycare and Grooming services to the greater Columbus area.
Lead the Way K9 Training & Boarding is based out of Delaware, Ohio and is open 365 days a year. We offer top of the line facilities and premium services by appointment only.
Owners Josh & Brittany Pederson
Josh & Brittany are true dog lovers that have owned an operated Lead the K9 Training & Boarding since 2016. Over the years we have been able to grow the business by word of mouth into additional services, and we love to help, and be apart of the community.
Senior Trainer, Jake
Jake has been with Lead the Way K9 since 2020. Jake has over 20 years of experience working with dogs, and his knowledge and background brings significant expertise and excellent results for Training. Jake is a true dog whisperer!
Groomer, Amber
Amber has been apart of the Lead the Way K9 Team since 2022. Amber shows great care for dogs, an excellent work ethic and enjoys making dogs look their very best with our Grooming services.
Lead Kennel Technician, Carlos
Carlos has been apart of the Lead the Way K9 team since 2021. Carlos does a wonderful job caring for dogs, evaluating new dogs that come to the facility, while ensuring proper,safe and structured playgroups for all dogs. Carlos is a hardworking young man that takes pride in his role.
Lead Kennel Technician & Apprentice Trainer, Mallory
Mallory has been apart of the Lead the Way K9 team since 2021. Mallory started off part time while in high school, and is now a full time team member since graduating. She is currently enrolled in dog training school and working towards her certifications for different skills in the dog world. Mallory is a great communicator and a hardworking individual. She loves the dogs and provides great care.
Kennel Technician, Jessica
Jessica has been apart of the Lead the Way K9 team since 2024. Jessica really enjoys caring for the dogs and monitoring the structured social group play. Jessica brings a fun personality and is someone that enjoys the interactions with our clients.
Kennel Technician, Bella
Bella has been apart of the Lead the Way K9 Team since 2024. Bella is currently in school at OSU to become a veterinarian. Bella is very thoughtful individual who is thorough in her daily tasks, and always has a positive attitude.
