Lead the Way K9 Training offers two specialized Board and Train programs to help your canine companion become a well-behaved member of your family. Our 2-Week On & Off Leash Remote Collar Training is designed for dogs 6 months and older, focusing on obedience, calming your dogs state of mind , and e-collar communication. For younger puppies between 4-6 months, we provide a 7-10 Day Puppy Board and Train program that establishes essential obedience and foundations which includes socialization. Both programs offer personalized instruction, follow-up support, and the necessary tools to ensure continued success at home.

WHAT TO EXPECT
6 MONTHS OR OLDER:
Located in our Delaware facilities and servicing the greater Columbus area, Lead the Way’s 2-Week Obedience Board & Train Program is a great option for owners who are looking for excellent obedience (under high levels of distractions) and to improve their canine-human relationship. This thorough program includes daily doses of structure, rules, socialization and supervised play time. By completing this two-week program, your dog will develop a new foundation and state-of-mind that will make it easy for you to continue the training at your home. We specialize in state-of-the-art, low-level, communication style E-Collar training. Our E-Collar program is nothing like you have ever seen, and is nothing like the E-Collar training of old. Contemporary E-Collar Training utilizes the softest, most gentle remote communication, and is one of the most humane and effective approaches to dog training available.
WE WILL ALSO FOCUS ON MINOR BEHAVIOR ISSUES, SUCH AS:
+ Jumping, Nipping, Mouthing
+ Excessive Barking
+ Counter Surfing
This program will include a consultation when you drop off your dog. You will receive e-mail and phone support along with social media updates during and after the program is completed.
At the end of the program, we will have a in depth 1-2 hour review of Training tools and transfer of information along with answering any questions. We will provide you with all of the information, techniques, and strategies needed to ensure the continued success of the training.
Once the training is finished each dog receives a top of the line Mini Educator E-Collar (if purchased), as well as a prong/training collar.

+ Waiting at Thresholds (doors, car, crate, etc.)
+ Release command, Break
+ Proper Socialization and Confidence building
WHAT TO EXPECT
PUPPY TRAINING PROGRAM SKILLS:
While enjoying our Structured Puppy Program of learning proper socialization and exercise, your pup will experience a regular schedule of on leash training that will instill and reinforce the basic foundations of obedience.
BENEFITS OF THE PUPPY BOARD AND TRAIN PROGRAM:
Consistency is the key to Puppy Training. With Lead the Way K9 Training program’s 7-day model, your pup will receive the constant reinforcement necessary to success—and we don’t stop there. In addition to a consultation upon drop off, we provide in depth 1-2 hour go-home session to help you transition your pup’s new skill set to the home. Each puppy receives a prong/training collar. At the end of the training, you’ll have an obedient, responsive pup that will provide you and your family with a lifetime of companionship.
